The dimensions are 1.25, hence the name Series 1.25 Chair.  It is the first of prototypes that came to production.  During the design process, more than 50 designs were examined and stability tests on 3 prototype chairs went to the burn pile until 1.25 black and 1.25 white and 1.25 wood were finalized.
